01 Tell me something about yourself ?

Ans... Namaste , My name is Dharmendra kumar , I have completed my graduation in fashion design from FDDI Kolkata. I am originally from Bihar at Raxaul and currently i am residing in Kolkata. My father is a government servant and my mother is home maker i have four brothers and one sister they all are studying. I have two years experience in garment industry as a Designer cum Merchandiser. As regards my hobbies i like to read magazines and blog write......thank you.

02 What is designing ?

Ans... According to me designing is a art or drawing which produce to show the look and function of a garment or other object before it is made and designing is the totally gathering of creativity and innovative ideas.

03 What is merchandising ?

Ans... Merchandising is the activity of promoting the sale of goods specially by their presentation and face to face and a merchant is the interface between buyer and exporter he is responsible from its order receiving to shipment so. 

04 What is printing ?

Ans...Printing is the process of applying colors to fabric in a definite pattern or design, there are various types of printing hand block printing, screen printing, digital printing, stencil printing, machine printing, engraved printing, perrotine printing.

05 What are the types of colors ?

Ans...There are three types of colors.  primary color, secondary color, tertiary color. 

06 What is graphic design ?

Ans...Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem solving using one or more of typography, photography and illustration.

07 What is Embroidery ?

Ans...Embroidery is the handicraft for decorating fabric or other materials with the help of needle and thread the basic techniques for the Embroidery is Chain stitch, Blanket stitch, Running stitch, Cross stitch, Lazy dazy stitch.

08 What do you know about Fashion forecasting ?

Ans... Fashion forecasting means the focus on upcoming trends. A fashion forecaster set the color, fabric, textures, materials, prints, graphic, accessory, footwear and other style.That will be presented on the runway and in the stores for the upcoming season.

09 What is Fashion merchandising ?

Ans...Fashion merchandising is the promotion of apparel sales and involves all the task necessary to deliver the product request and meet the costumer and designer.

10 What is styling ?

Ans...Styling is the way in which something is made designed and expressed. And styling is a manner of doing or presenting things.

                                                                                                

11 Stylist work and role ?

Ans...A stylist select the clothing and accessory for the published editorial features print and television advertising companies, music, concert preference.

12 Difference between a fashion designer or a fashion stylist ?

Ans...Fashion designers create clothing. And garment is the actual product of a designer. But a fashion stylist is someone who selects clothing and accessory for a fashion advertisement.
